"Make me," he said, his voice rough and thick as he edged her just that bit closer. Emma's lower region came in contact with his and she was thrown back into a virtual hot-tub of swirling liquid heat that was Conrad’s manliness.

“And don’t you bring anything up about playing by the rules. I know I’m just a client. But you can’t tell me you’ve never done anything reckless and exciting. Something totally out of your comfort zone.”

If only you knew, thought Emma with a worrying bite of her bottom lip. Yes, she could be adventurous and even reckless, but she’d never done anything like this.
